‘Recycling metal into bespoke art’

I recycle because second-hand metal is an abundant material in Plymouth and surrounding South Devon. The cutlery and scrap metal comes from charity shops, industrial units, farms and bike shops.

The work honours the environment and celebrates the wonder that animals bring to life. These sculptures are realistic representations and I pay particular attention to movement, form and behaviour.

Twice a year I have an open day, at my workshop and gallery, once in March and once in October. It is a great way to see the work. You will see how I start from photos, drawings and progress to models and then metalwork.
